The disadvantages to arranged marriages
One disadvantage is the fact that the individual does not have the opportunity to make their own decision. When a marriage is arranged by family members, they don’t encourage the individual to decide on who they should marry. Instead of the individual going around meeting people and dating, the parents are left with the job to find the match. If the marriage does not work out and both spouses are unhappy, the blame would go towards the marriage. Another disadvantage that comes along with arranged marriages is the fact that love within the marriage is second priority. Family members convince the two individuals that love will eventually bloom within the marriage. Other factors such as social or economic status are more important, rather than romantic love between the two individuals.Finally, another disadvantage that comes along with arranged marriages is that there would be the interference of extended family members. Sometimes when extended family members get involved with disagreements, may cause more stress within the marriage. Also, individuals from western societies that have had an arranged marriage would feel uncomfortable with extended family members involved in their daily lives.

Romeo and Juliet
What happened to the families at the end of the play?
I reckon they still fought for a while blaming each other for the loss of their children.
Maybe a couple of years later they might of come to the conclusion that it was themselves that killed their children, and that they couldn't blame anyone else, without thinking of their faults and decisions that added to the problems that concluded to their deaths.
What if romeo did not die but Juliet did?
He would commit suicide, because he can't live without his love. He finds the world empty without her, that there is nothing there for him. Also he was still banished from Verona so he probably would've ended up dead any way, so it was either Suicide or being killed.

'Go Back To Where You Came From'
The show was very interesting, I reckon that they need to do more of this, to show people that live in their own bubble that some of their problems are nothing compared to what some people face day to day.
And just to show people what the world is like, that it is not a perfect place and that every country is different, and that no body has the same opinion and that if you put them in a situation like those people have been, their opinions will change from their starting thoughts, nobody's opinion would stay the same as it was to start off, of course it will change a little bit.
They were excited at first but when their phones, wallets and passports and aren't told where they are going they get nervous and Edgy.
One of the places where they go is Malaysia, the place is wrecked almost everything almost looks broken or dirty. Windows are smashed, cramped sleep and stay in that same room day and night, 55 or 50 people stay in that room, and the kids don't leave the apartment or they would get detained or locked up because they are illegally there, the parents aren't aloud to work.

Raph has experienced war & a dangerous terrifying journey.
Naajeba has experienced many loved friends disappearing. The school had been closed down and the teacher was killed because girls aren't aloud to be teacher.
To start with both Najeba and Raph felt scared and lived a life of fear but once they moved to Australia they screamed and finally felt like they could have a chance of a new life.

Work Experience Day 2.
On the second day, we went to the studio he owns at Mc Donald Hall. I learnt how to set up a Nano Verb, it was very frustrating at times, because I couldn't understand it at time but eventually i got there.
After that i played around on the mixing desks and the fold back systems, and all this electrical gear that was amazing..!!!

Work Experience Day 1.
For my work experience i went and did it with the drum teacher Mr Thompson.
I sat and observed lessons, they ranged from singing, bass guitar and drums. I saw a range of talents with the singing lessons, from high to low voices and there are so many different ranges in Music styles.
I was so amazed.

Marking Time
Marking Time
1. It's marking the time change from then to now.
Cultural difference & turning points
1. It honestly depends on what term they use the term in, it is and insult if you call them that, but like in the movie when Rhanda's house was set on fire and Bullet rang Hal he meant it in a sincere way, of apology and concern.
2. They steal the scarf because they think it is a 'joke' and that there is nothing behind and assumed it was just a scarf nothing important, just an accessories like most girls wear, but to Rhanda it was more than that. And they maybe got told to steal it so they could be welcomed into a group of people or something 'cool'.
3.Hal returning the scarf was a significant turning point because it showed Rhanda that not everybody is the same as those boys that stole her Hijab. It showed her that no one was the same as the person standing next to them.
4. Rhanda taking her Hijab, with her fathers and they people they were staying with recognition is a scene of acceptance that this country that they are now living in is different to the one they lived in before, and they don't have to be as sacred as they were before.
Country Town
1. We did the similarities in our book together :)
2. Yes, i do but at the same i don't like living in Ararat because there seems to be more trouble here and you cant really walk down the street expecting to be fine, like you could in a smaller country town, because you never know who is watching, or following you.
I like how you basically know people you see walking down the street, but at the same time you could dread seeing those people down the street because once one person doesn't like you it's like the whole town hates you, its there way of showing this is their community and that your not welcome, or mess with this person and your also messing with me.
3. I would organise a festival for some of the disadvantaged people, they can't go to your average festival because they have down syndrome and they are picked on constantly, id make it for kids with heart problems or any kind of disease so that it was there day to forget about what their fighting what they look like, afraid of being bullied for who they are, i make it special for them, and i would go around asking what kind of rides they want, what activities they like, and all the funds would go to the charities. That's what i would really like to do, because knowing that they had a smile on their face was because of me.

At the start Rhanda was so worried about everything, she had to do everything right, or there was some kind of punishment to her and her father, she hadn't really settled in, that she was in a different country with different rules, she hadn't realised that she was free, that not everything was bad and that the people in Brackley were different. And towards the end she seemed more relaxed and free. Happy

Asylum Seekers..
They come by boat, unexpected and most of the time unwelcome, and they just expect to be given refugee status. What about the poor people that spend months waiting for a Visa? It's very unfair for those people, they spend lots of time waiting, hoping that they get granted refugee status.
And when they see that people are coming by boat and they are getting refugee status they assume that travelling by boat is the best way to come to Australia! When its not because now they will get sent to Papa New Guinea.
